About Us
PreCom is a dynamic and forward thinking, “hands-on” project development and management consultancy. For the past 25 years we have been active in the oil & gas, water treatment and renewable energy markets with many years experience in managing and executing a number projects, supporting our clients world-wide.
Experience
Our team have the skills and experience to manage the full asset lifecycle from project identification, development, due diligence, inception, acquisition, permitting & planning, procurement, design, engineering delivery, due diligence, technical advisory, commissioning and operations. With also provide a range of health and safety related services. We provide services to both the private and public sector.
Our experience includes working for some of the largest Corporations, Investors, Plant Manufacturers, Operators, Engineering Contractors (EPC & EPCC) & Project Management Consultants.
Our client’s projects are diverse and our service covers strategic projects, for large blue chip organisations, to smaller one-off projects.

Previous projects
Biogas
Project management support on behalf of Envitec Biogas, a major global Biogas plant manufacturer. The £100m project involved the design, construction and operation of several 1mW biogas plants in India.
Asset acquisition, project development and operational management of AD Assets on behalf of a Japanese / Dutch based investment group. Supporting the objective of developing and a £100m biogas & gas-to-grid portfolio in the UK and Ireland.
Biomass
Our experience has included project management and commissioning management of a major North Wales (UK) Biomass project to construct and operate 3 x 1 mW Biomass plants.
Energy from Waste
Project management for a major EfW project in Scotland (UK).
Water Treatment
Providing project management and execution of an ultra filtration project in the UK on behalf of Norit Process Technologies, based in Holland, for several UK municipal water companies.
PreCom set-up and operated the world-wide after-sales service and support department for Berkefeld Filter, a German based Water Treatment plant manufacturer prior to their acquisition by the Veolia Group.
Our UK Water Treatment services unit provides Legionella Control consultancy and maintenance services.
Oil & Gas
We have many years experience providing project management and commissioning management on major projects around the world in areas such as North & West Africa, Middle East, Europe and Asia. Clients have included world leading companies such as; Shell, Esso, Wood Group, Worley Parsons, ABB, Chevron, Qatar Gas, Saudi Aramco.
